Mission and Goals:

Working toward the attainment of collaboration with and advocacy for rural California communities and toward the attainment of consistent and quality energy services and products necessary to meet the State’s - energy-related goals in our represented communities, the purposes of RHTR shall be:

• To increase the quality of delivered energy related services and products to rural California communities;

• To assess rural California’s ongoing and crosscutting barriers to the market adoption of energy related services and products;

• To positively influence local, regional, and state policy and regulatory discussion and decisions to address barriers and drivers in rural California;

• To cooperate and collaborate with other agencies, associations, and groups, both public and private, having similar or related purposes.
